Queen Anne Walnut Slant Front Desk.

Description: Early 18th C. American English style figured and burled walnut Queen Anne drop front writing desk, with fruitwood inlays and brass hardware. The desk has a fitted and stepped interior with pigeonholes and four small drawers. The desk also has four larger drawers, 2 short and two longer. Keys present with working locks. Early 18th C. American English style Drop front burl veneer, fruit wood inlay brass hardware. Condition: Wear and distressing consistent with it’s age. Areas of chipped, abrased or damaged veneer. Both short drawers have appeared to have been reworked at some point, with the left drawer having additional damage on it's lower left corner.
