Antique Red and Navy Blue Senneh (Kurdistan, North Persia) Rug with White Accents- Wool on Cotton Foundation

Description: Senneh, present day Sanandaj, is a town in Kurdistan, in North West Persia. We believe this rug to be an antique, produced c. 1920, which was also the opinion of our third party evaluation, however, we do not have it's provenance. The knotting and color palette indicates it's origin as stated and the color tone indicate it's production date. Condition: Condition consistent with it's age and use. There is some wear, staining and damage to the fringe and short edge, with additional wear to the long edges and some small wear spot to the body of the rug in several places. Sku# EY9WB3
