Antique Walnut Hand Painted Drop Front Secretary

Description: Antique painted drop front secretary with carved legs and stretchers. There are two drawers below the drop front, as well as a fitted four drawer insert with multiple pigeonholes and slots. We believe this to be an antique based on our research, which was also the opinion of our third party evaluation, however we don’t have the provenance for this item. Condition: No keys. Condition consistent with it's age and use, with the finish showing number of scratches or abrased areas. Additionally, the is scratch in the right side painted panel. The drop down doesn’t close completely and there is some damage to the case, between the drop down and the drawers. The interior insert doesn't sit flush to the back on the left side.
