Maker / Artist Details

Alexa Kelemen was born in Romania, studied at the Institute of Art in Constanța (graduating in 1965), and moved to the United States in 1986. Her practice blends landscapes with expressive color and subtle blurring, developed during her years with the Deljou Art Group in Atlanta. Her work has been exhibited in New York and Atlanta and remains in gallery and collection profiles documenting her education and career.
