This carved stone ceremonial vessel originates from the Pre-Columbian Chavín culture of Peru and presents as a four-legged creature with a hollow chamber and a top opening behind the head. It features anthropomorphic facial elements such as circular eye openings and a carved mouth, and measures 7.75 in (H) × 6.75 in (W) × 9.75 in (D).
Condition: Excellent. The piece features sculpted limbs with individual toes and a hollow interior suitable for decorative or ceremonial display in a controlled setting. Interior details include scratched initials “FEV” on the interior wall.
