Rafael Canogar (born May 17, 1935, in Toledo, Spain) is a Spanish painter and sculptor recognized for abstract art and for co-founding the Madrid-based El Paso group in 1957. He helped define Spanish Informalism and pursued evolving abstraction across his career. His works are represented in major collections and exhibitions worldwide.
