Exceptional handcrafted pair of Raku-fired ceramic pigeon sculptures by Texas studio artist Gil P. Coalson. Each sculpture began as a wheel-thrown vessel before being individually hand formed, Raku fired, signed, dated, and numbered by the artist. The distinctive smoky metallic finish and organic surface variations are characteristic of the traditional Raku firing process, making every sculpture one of a kind.

Sold together as a matching pair and accompanied by the artist's original biography and information sheet.
