A round decorative plate crafted in porcelain and pottery. The hand-painted scene depicts a hunter in a garden setting with a bright sun, birds, and flowering foliage, and is signed “DeSimone” along the front edge.
Giovanni DeSimone (1930–1991) was an Italian ceramic artist from Palermo, known for hand-painted pieces with vivid color and cubist influences. His workshop produced decorative ceramics, and after his death the studio continued in Palermo as La Fabbrica della Ceramica, run by his daughters Susanna and Margherita. Works are often signed “DeSimone.”
Condition: Used. The piece is cataloged as part of Miss Daisy's Consignment & Auction House inventory. Display is suitable for wall mounting or use on a stand.
