Three signed Navajo fetish miniatures by Cleo Teissedre from Miss Daisy's Consignment & Auction House, comprising one Storyteller and two Mudhead figures. The ceramic clay sculptures are hand-painted with turquoise accents and sculptural textures, designed for display within Southwestern art collections.
Cleo Teissedre (1930–2020) was a Navajo artist known for hand-painted pottery figurines, including Storyteller and Mudhead forms. She is described as self-taught and associated with the Navajo Nation; her pieces have appeared in auction listings and private collections. These miniatures reflect Teissedre’s practice of delineating storytelling figures in clay with individualized painting.
Excellent condition. Dust with a soft, dry cloth; avoid harsh cleaners. Display away from direct sunlight to help preserve painted surfaces.
