Maker / Artist Details

Douglas Parshall (Douglass Ewell Parshall) was an American painter and muralist known for landscapes of the American West and California. He studied at the Art Students League of New York and the Santa Barbara School of the Arts, and became an active figure in the Santa Barbara art community, including roles with New Deal art programs and the National Academy of Design.
