Carl Schumann Porcelain Factory operated in Arzberg, Bavaria, Germany. The firm was founded in 1881 by Carl Schumann and Franz Riess (Schumann & Riess) and was later renamed Carl Schumann G.m.b.H. & Co. K.G. In the early 20th century the company used lion marks after receiving permission to use the City of Arzberg Coat of Arms, continuing production into the 20th century.
