Description

One-of-a-kind studio study (maquette) by artist Béla Bácsi, executed in white plaster/cast Hydrocal. The sculpture is a serene female visage with an upward gaze and a distinct headband.

The right shoulder area is intentionally truncated, exposing the raw, industrial texture of the casting process. The piece is mounted on a rustic, multi-layered pine wood display base using an integrated steel threaded rod.

Condition

Good studio condition. Minor surface scuffs, tiny casting imperfections, and dust accumulation consistent with a working artist’s model. Wood base shows natural grain texturing. Please refer to photos for full visual details.
